ArtLab is a local art and technology creative leaning space that’s co-founded by Studio Dirk Schlebusch.

Step into a world where creative minds and advanced technology come together, from wiggly string to state-of-the-art digital technology. In the Immersive ArtLab courses we take you on an unforgettable journey, guided by architect and light artist Dirk Schlebusch. Together with sound artist Remco de Klokkenaar and digital image designer Sacha Meijer, we immerse you in a different universe. In this program youngsters can learn how to experience and shape a space in a completely new way. Dirk shares his knowledge as an architect and shows you how to design a space to make it an immersive experience. He works closely with Sacha, who teaches you the basics of animated films and how to project animations in a space. But that is not everything! With Remco you will discover the art of composing soundscapes and sound landscapes, recording sounds and seamlessly integrating them into objects and projections. In this course you will transform anything dull into an enchanting space, where you can immerse your friends, parents and unsuspecting visitors in your special experience.
